Keyboard layout indicator broken

Project:Trisquel
Component:Gnome
Category:bug report
Priority:normal
Assigned:upstream
Status:closed
Description

The keyboard layout indicator does not display the current layout. Switching the layouts works without problems, also one can use shortcuts. No other issues, just the indication of the current layout isn't given - the symbol of the layout indicator is just a keyboard without any hint on what layout is being used atm. This is a duplication of Bug 663630, as seen here:

Marking as fixed. It works for me in 5.5. If you click the layout icon it has a dot by the layout that is currently selected.
